Tour Itinerary:

Day 1- Alite at Patalikul to Nagger (by jeep) & Trek to Rumsu

The trekkers will alight in Patalikul and gather at the reporting point by 10 am where there will be a small briefing session with your trek leader. After breakfast, we will start our journey to Nagger on our vehicles which will drop us at the starting point of our first leg of trekking the Himalayas. A 2-hour long trek will take us to Rumsu before lunchtime. Post lunch and a small rest, we will proceed to Rumsu Village where trekkers can explore the old architecture and bask in the serenity of the place. Following this, there will be an orientation session which will cover all the general instructions that could be helpful for the trek like backpacking, marching techniques, and medical awareness. An Ice Breaking session will be followed by an overnight stay in tents at Rumsu.

Day 2 - Rumsu to Naya Tapru

After Breakfast on Day 2, we will start our trek to NayaTapru through some dense forest of pine, fir, oak and chestnut trees. It will take around 5-6 hours of trekking the ascent to reach NayaTapru and en route, we will have packed lunch at GhanKulhadi which is a beautiful, green meadow nestled amidst the dense foliage. The day will be concluded with an overnight stay at NayaTapru.

Day 3 - Naya Tapru to Chanderkhani base

Day 3 will include a trek from NayaTapru to Chandrakhani base, through the lush and pristine nature of the Himachal, with views of both, the Dhauladhar range as well as the PirPanjal Range. Lunch will be enroute and there will be overnight stay in tents at the Chandrakhani base.

Day 4 - Chanderkhani base to Chandrakhani Pass to Nagruni thach

This leg of the journey offers breathtaking views of snow covered mountains and stunning valleys throughout the day. With a gradual climb on the ridge, we will reach the Chandrakhani Pass which offers splendid views of the Bara Bangal range towering high towards the west, the PirPanjal towards the North and the Parvati in the east. From the pass, we take a relatively steeper descent towards Nagruni where we have another overnight stay.

Day 5 - Nagruni thach to Malana

The descending trail from Nagruni to Malana, through the rich conifer forest, though steep at times, is yet wonderfully aesthetic and refreshing. The trek for the day ends with our arrival at Malana Village where we will have an overnight stay.

Day 6 - Malana to Kasol by Jeep

Surrounded by legends, Malana is a quaint village popularly known as “Little Greece” as the villagers claim to be descendants of Alexander, the Great. On the last day of our trek, we will have breakfast in the Malana village and then trek down for an hour to the Malana Dam. From Malana Dam, our vehicles will take you to Kasol which will conclude this trekking trip.

How to Reach

To reach Manali from Delhi, one can choose between Road or Air Travel.

The closest Airport is Bhuntar Airport that has a couple of flights from Delhi.

Those interested in road travel have the option of choosing one of the many buses, including Volvo buses, that travel between Delhi and Manali and charge between Rs. 800 to Rs. 1300 for the 15-hour long journey.

The option of hiring private vehicles is also available for those who are interested.

On your road journey from Delhi to Manali, we advise taking a bus that leaves Delhi in the evening, at latest, as this will get you to Manali at a comfortable time of anything between 8 am to 10 am.

Cancellations Policy:

• Booking Amount is 75% of the Total Tour cost.

• Cancellations received between 60 days prior to departure will be subject to a cancellation charge of 75% of the Total Tour cost.

• Cancellations received within 30 days of departure will subject to be cancellation charge of 100% of the entire Total tour cost.

Billing:

• All invoicing between will done by Sun Dreams Holidays.

• Cheques / Demand draft to be prepared in favor of Sun Dreams Holidays.

We also reserve the right under any circumstances to cancel your travel arrangements by assigning reasons to you.

• If we are unable to provide the booked travel arrangements due to reasons beyond our control

• We shall first try to offer alternative dates for the tour if the tour hasn't already commenced.
